About us
I’ve been coming to this laundromat since it opened, I knew the previous owner very well and have had many long talks about life, business and my future endeavors. Never once in my plan did I ever think of owning a laundromat.
Since I was in high school I’ve had the entrepreneur spirit. My mother would waitress, bartend and do her 9-5. She would always give me her change everyday to take to school, which I loved because we didn’t have much so that made me super excited. I saved it, and then when the ice cream man came to our neighborhood, I would buy candy necklaces and pixie sticks from him for the normal truck cost. I would bag them up and resell them in school to the kids at a higher price. Until one day he asked what I was doing, and I told him. He laughed at me and said, “you know what kid, I’m going to give you the whole box of both and you bring me back $40.00 and keep the rest”. In my head I thought this guy is crazy I’m totally ripping him off. Little did I know he was buying them for $12.00 a box and making $16.00 off of me. But, he trusted me and gave me a no money down option, and I always paid. Your word is everything. From this endeavor and my Clothing Line EastCoast Entrepreneur, I’ve always wanted to work for myself on my own terms.
In 2021, I opened The Hare & The Hound in Putnam, CT. The Hare & The Hound is an Irish Pub located in downtown Putnam that has received numerous awards in under a year. Check out our website at: https://thehareandthehound.com

Our Vision
My vision for this Laundromat is clean and crisp. To focus on the customer and what you actually want and like. To keep all machines running to the best of my ability, and if they are not running fix them as fast as we can. The plan is longterm growth of the community and whether its a long time customer or you are just here because your appliances are broken, we want to give you the best experience. Let us make laundry more tolerable for you, let us make it fun.

We are a complete laundromat, no change needed, and we offer laundry card bonuses!
